Who is Rulon, and what is called the club?
Adam Wiśniewski, aka Rulon, is a Polish counter-Strike player who is now mostly only remembered by old people, and even later, not everyone. He played from 2004 to 2011 but never reached superstar status in the Pro arena. In 2008, he played with the Polish team against the Russian team. The match was very running, and in the first half, the statistics were 0-15 which was terrible.
The problem is, no matter how one -sided this game, completing the first half with zero frag and dying of each round is an unusual achievement. Even in the worst scenario, you hope to capture the right time, get a trade murder, or manage to save at least once during the match. So, statistics 0-15 really “achievement” in their own way.
How do you join the Rulon Club?
Maybe it’s better not to do it. Apart from the fact that some of the big champions have succeeded, it is still a pretty embarrassing result, reminding everyone about the terrible game performance.
However, there are certain rules. In the most canonical version, you must have 0-15 statistics in the first round. Given that half now consists of 12 rounds, the numbers have been adjusted to 0-12. In the hardest version, you must have zero frag for the whole game. In a slightly softer version, you can avoid death 12 times in the first round, but at a certain point, your statistics must remain 0-12.
Who made it into the Rulon Club?
The club has seen several famous players. For example, Karrigan, considered one of the greatest cs captains of all time, made it into the Rulon club – on the Determining Map of the Grand Final Major PGL Copenhagen! In Inferno, Karrigan has a terrible first half in the attack, but after his sides switch, he managed to get only one frag.
His teammate Broky also made it to the Rulon Club five years earlier, when he suffered a crushing defeat with Epsilon against Avangar.
