MAG-7 Cinquedea
Cinquedea is a wide dagger that comes from northern Italy, specifically Venice. The name translates as “five fingers”, referring to the unique width of the blade, which is essentially five fingers wide. These triangular-shaped daggers were carried by commoners and nobles alike, often decorated with ivory hilts or carvings on the blade itself.
Although the MAG-7 is as short as a dagger, the MAG-7 Cinquedea has nothing to do with an actual weapon. Instead, its appearance resembles the interior of an ornate Italian cathedral. The decorative elements along the sides of the gun look more like ceramic than steel or polymer, giving the leather a unique character.
AWP The Prince
The rarest skin in The Canals Collection, AWP The Prince, has a graceful design. The base is red like a Roman emperor’s tunic, while gold and Latin text decorate the top. At first glance, it may seem that it has nothing to do with Venice, but upon closer inspection, you can spot subtle references.
The scope is decorated with a cross, a design element reminiscent of the famous Doge’s Palace in Venice. Additionally, the Latin inscription “Peace to you, Marcus, my evangelist” refers to Saint Mark, patron of Venice, whose lion adorns the city’s flag.
