Counter-Strike 2 skins have long since evolved from just pixels to a real video game phenomenon. They can be worth a supercar but look strange and are still items desired by thousands of players. The CS.MONEY blog talks about the five most iconic and cult skins in CS2 that are too deeply linked to the history of the game.
Well, even though these skins may be expensive and not really necessary, other skins, including new ones, can be purchased at CS.MONEY! Click on the banner and start shopping!
AWP Dragon Lore is an Iconic Skin, CS2 Supreme God skin. Released in 2014 as part of the Cobblestone Collection, it quickly gained popularity in the community. For two reasons. Firstly, its beauty is enchanting even today. Second, this happens very rarely. The skin has quickly become a favorite among collectors, esports players and gamers.
One Dragon Lore AWP costs around $5,000. The rarest souvenir leather or thrifted clothing options are valued at $60,000 or more.
At first glance, the AK-47 Case Hardened looks controversial. Yellow, blue, and purple all mixed together to cover most of the skin. But things change when it comes to pattern number 661. Also known as the Scar pattern, AK-47 Case Hardened #661 is one of the most iconic, expensive, and easily recognized skins in the game. Basically the same reason: too rare to ignore.
Its distinctive feature is that the upper part of the skin is almost completely covered in blue, except for small yellow spots, which is where the pattern gets its name. This skin is also famous for other reasons. Last year, one StatTrak Factory New AK-47 Case Hardened #661 sold for $1,000,000! This is a record amount for all of CS2 weapon skin.
M4A4 Howl is a unique skin with an interesting story. It was added to the game along with the Hunter’s Case. Almost immediately after, the skin was reported to violate copyright, aka Valve received a DMCA from the original artist. It was the first DMCA case for skins in CS. Responding to these complaints, Valve:
- Removing Howl from the Case
- Change design
- Assigns a unique rarity category to the skin: Contraband
As a result, very few M4A4 Howls made it into the game. Currently, there are approximately 7,500 items in open inventory. Even the cheapest iconic M4A4 Howl skin will cost several thousand dollars.
The Karambit Knife is one of the Holy Trinity of Knives, along with the Butterfly Knife and the M9 Bayonet. But it is the Karambit that can be called the most iconic knife in CS2. First, a Karambit Case Hardened leather with fully blued blade is currently priced at $1,500,000. Nice, right? Secondly, this curved blade has won the hearts of players since its inception and has become very popular.
But we want to focus on knives that are cheaper than $1,500,000. Ruby Doppler Karambit. You see, when CS:GO moved to CS2, we got a big jump in terms of graphics. And because of the new engine and lighting and texture systems, Doppler and Gamma Doppler blades look much better. And the Karambit Doppler Ruby is the embodiment of that change. Take a look at the picture above!
Talking about iconic skins, we also can’t ignore the gloves. It wasn’t a real thing until November 2016, when the gloves first appeared. Previously, we only saw ordinary gloves at all agents. So, these Gloves contain the Pandora’s Box of Sports Gloves.
From its noble purple color shaded by black elements, the Pandora’s Box Sports Gloves immediately attract attention. This glove is considered a luxury item, one of the rarest and most iconic skins in CS2. And it’s not just about looks. Due to the Float Value characteristic, the Pandora’s Box Sports Gloves in Factory New are very hard to find, basically because there are about 30 pairs in the world! Even by the most modest estimate, each carries a price tag of $40,000.
There are a lot of cool and beautiful skins in CS2, but there are far fewer iconic ones. It’s not easy to get a skin like that, but fortunately we have a solution. Visit CS.MONEY, look for profitable offers and buy any skin, even the most cult, even the most common. Fast, cheap and convenient!
